As a Specialist GP with a focus on LGBTQIA+ health, sexual health, and mental health, I bring over a decade of experience in compassionate, inclusive care. My journey in medicine is driven by a passion for reducing disparities and advocating for equality and accessibility in healthcare.
Your authentic self,
refracted by the prism of experience,
illuminates the path to health
As a queer individual living with ADHD, I bring unique perspectives to my practice. I understand firsthand the challenges faced by marginalised communities and am committed to challenging biases and fostering progressive, patient-centred healthcare approaches. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgemental space where every individual feels heard, respected, and empowered.
I believe that curiosity and compassion are essential in understanding each person's unique journey. By embracing every hue of individual experience, I aim to provide holistic care that addresses not just physical health but also emotional and psychological wellbeing.
What fascinates me most is the intricate interplay between sexual health, mental wellbeing, and societal norms. My work in therapy, including sex therapy, has revealed the profound impact these areas have on each other. It's not just about treating symptoms; it's about understanding the whole person within their sociocultural context. One of the most rewarding aspects of this work is the opportunity to challenge stigma and create safe spaces for people to discuss issues they've often felt too embarrassed or ashamed to bring up before.
